Updated rain reports from the deluge yesterday (on the front-range). 72hr rain totals

06/26/25 8:45am: Great to see more heavy rain across the front-range, especially from last night's deluge in spots. Parts of the Denver area from Erie to Lafayette to Broomfield to Aurora picked up a whopping 0.75" to 1.75" just yesterday. I measured 0.53" in the last 24hrs (and 0.59" in the last 3 days).

First image below shows 72hr rain totals from MRMS: it's really the tale of two halves of the state, with all the meaningful rain over eastern CO and the front-range (mostly east of the Cont. Divide) with 0.5" to 2.0" of rain in many areas there. And very little over western CO and much of the north-central mountains.

Looking ahead warm and dry weather across the state from today through Saturday. Afternoon thunderstorms return on Sunday and Monday (mountains and front-range).

Then much better storm chances for western CO and the north-central mountains from Tue-Sat next week as the next monsoon surge moves in.
