Rain and snow reports over the last 24hr and 72hrs. Big time totals over southern CO again. Some decent totals for Denver area.

Nov 3, 2026

11/03/26 8:30am: Great to see some meaningful rain across part of Den/Bou last night as the backside rain-bands moved through. Even some snow on the Palmer Divide. And a little more snow for the mountains.

Much of Den/Bou picked up 0.20" to 0.70" of rain in the last two days (with most of that coming last night). At my house, on the low end but 0.12" in the last 24hsr gives me a 2-day total of 0.20".

Of course the really big totals were in southern CO. First image shows 72hr observed rainfall from MRMS, showing a large swath of 2.5" to 4.5" of rain across southwest CO from Cortez to Durango to near Silverton to Bayfield to Pagosa Springs to Wolf Creek Pass...and of course along with some damaging flooding in spots.

As I mentioned parts of Pagosa Springs have measured > 21" of rain in the last 8 weeks!

We have a break in the weather now. Then the next storm system arrives on Wed into Thu.

Rain/Snow moves back into the central mountains after 12pm Wed, with the main event from 3pm Wed to 6am Thu (favoring the central mountains of CO).

Den/Bou may have some rain showers on Wed night into Thu (with some light snow for the foothills). Best chances from Denver south and west.

I'll have more on that later.

First image shows 72hr observed rainfall from MRMS. Second image shows 72hr observed snowfall from NOHRSC (analysis product, can be off in spots, may not include last night's snow). Image 3 shows CoCoRaHS 24hr reports for Den/Bou areas. Image 4 shows 4-day rain reports for southern / central CO.

How much rain did you get the last 2-days? The last 4-days? Any snow?
