May 15, 2025

05/15/25 8:15am: Lets take a look at some rain and snow totals from this current storm system. Great to see some heavier rain and snow in spots. Also some heavier snow than expected across parts of the mountains (always a good thing).

For today another round of rain/snow showers for the mountains primarily from 1pm today through 4am Fri (snow above 9k ft): an additional 1-5" in spots favoring areas near Berthoud, WP, IPW, RMNP, etc.

For Den/Bou a few very weak, high-based storms and rain showers from 3pm-10pm. Best chances east of I-25 on eastern plains. Much of Den/Bou won't get much (not like yesterday).

Update: Also some very strong wind over parts of Den/Bou and the front-range this morning, especially in/near the foothills: seeing reports of wind-gusts of 60-80mph near Boulder this morning. Windy most of today.

How much rain/snow did you get? Images 3-5 show current or morning snow-stake views for Loveland, A-Basin and Winter Park.
