Quick look at additional snowfall from 12pm Thu to 12pm Fri
May 15, 2025
05/15/25 1:40pm: Here is a quick look at expected, additional snowfall form now through 6am tomorrow morning. For parts of the north-central mountain, primarily above 8500ft, looks like 1-5" of additional snow, favoring areas near Berthoud, Winter Park and IPW and maybe parts of eastern Summit co from Breck to A-Basin to Loveland. Most of this will fall this evening (6pm-2am).
For Den/Bou and the front-range dry and windy at times. Just a few isolated, high-based showers this evening (most areas stay dry).
First image shows forecast total snowfall over the next 24hrs (12pm today to 12pm Fri) from latest HRRR. Second image is equivalent but for total liquid precip (take modeled rains/snow amounts with grain of salt). Third image is current composite radar over the state showing extensive showers over the mountains and western CO already.
