Initial snow report from this current storm system (Tue)

Mar 4, 2025

03/04/25 8am: Well its been an interesting storm system so far. The low pulled pretty far southeast last night. We knew that uncertainty was high with the snowfall amounts and that showed up in spots. Boom or bust depending on where you are in the mountains, but generally some good totals for the north-central mountains with a bit more snow to come today. On the front-range some decent rain for parts of Den/Bou/Ft.Collins and a little bit of snow for the foothills, Palmer Divide, areas near Springs and parts of the eastern plains.

At my house in Westminster I measured 0.19" of rain with no snow, but walking back from my daughter's school this morning it was cool to look towards the foothills and see the snow-line (at about 6500ft), first image below. Generally, Den/Bou picked up 0.15" to 0.45" of rain.

More snow coming tomorrow night through Sat am (two storms), more on that later.

How are conditions in your neck of the woods this morning? How much snow did you get? How much rain?
