Good to see some light snow across the mountains tonight.

Dec 13, 2024

12/13/24 7:15pm: It ain't much, but good to see at least a little bit of snow across some of some of local ski areas this evening (it will soften things up nicely for the family tomorrow 🙂 ) And latest satellite image (5) shows the last of the snow-showers still flying over the north-central mountains now. Generally just 0.5" to 2" at some ski areas with a little more at Eldora (image 3) and Crested Butte (image 4). Good to see around 1" at Breck and Copper.

Just a little bit more snow for the mountains tonight with snow ending by 11pm (Trace-1" more).

Wind is starting to calm down but still some 30-50 mph gusts over the very highest parts of the north-central mountains. Winds will continue to decrease some overnight and won't be too bad tomorrow before getting really windy again late Sat into Sun.

I'll be taking the family to Breck tomorrow morning and that new snow will be nice. I'll have more updates on the Sun/Mon storm tomorrow evening.
