48hr rain reports from this last storm system

05/29/25 8:45am: Great to see the storm system come through about as expected with some moderate to heavy rain in spots last night. Its still cool and cloudy along the front-range with some rain ongoing over southeast CO. Some really nice rain totals over the last 48hrs.
First image shows 48hr observed rainfall from MRMS: widespread totals of 0.60" to 1.20" for the Ft. Collins / Loveland areas and 0.25" to 0.60" of rain for much of Den/Bou and the foothills.

For the rest today, most of the rain this afternoon will be over southern CO.
For Den/Bou and the front-range another chance for isolated to scattered rain showers / weak thunderstorms from 1pm-7pm, best chances from I-70 south and in/near the foothills.
For the north-central mountains also isolated rain showers / weak thunderstorms from 1pm-7pm, best chances along/south of I-70.
Best coverage of storms from Leadville to Colorado Springs to Pueblo and south / southeast 12pm-8pm.
For tomorrow (Friday) just some isolated to scattered storms over the north-central / south-central mountains from 2pm-8pm. Den/Bou and the front-range likely remains dry on Fri.
How much rain did you get the last 2 days? How about the last 30 days?
Its actually been a very wet stretch for the northern front-range (including Den/Bou) for the last 1 month...later we will look at some precip total / percentage of average, its been great to see!
